SURPRISE ME - A 30-DAY FAITH EXPERIMENT // Terry Esau

Title:		Hooahh!
Read:		Keith and I have coached our daughter’s soccer team since they were little squirts. We taught them this cheer way back. Here’s how it goes. When one of the girls does something out of the ordinary or gives an exceptional effort, we go, “Everybody, let’s give a big Hooahh to Sally, one, two, three—Hooahh!” They yell it, they love it. I wonder if God goes Hooahh for us? Is he cheering when we do well or just give an exceptional effort? Keith and I look for excuses to Hooahh the girls. My guess is God’s at least as generous with his cheers as we are. Sometimes the girls beat us to the cheer—they see a teammate do something great and they Hooahh her. As coaches, we especially love it when they do that. It creates great team spirit. I bet God feels the same way. Even though he loves cheering for us, he probably loves it even more when he sees us learning the principle and we start Hooahhing each other, randomly, raucously. Go Hooahh somebody today.
